SF Group are working with the subsidiary of an international Business Services group as they attract a Financial Controller to join their head office. Previously backed by private equity, the client was acquired recently and are in the midst of a finance restructure to better align finance to business needs.
As a quick overview, the FC will be responsible for:
- Producing a consolidate planning, budgeting and forecasting pack
- Ownership of the statutory reporting process
- Implementing financial management and control methodologies
- Balance sheet review
- Reporting to group
- Management of all financial processing elements (AP, AR, credit control, cashflow)
Candidates must be qualified (ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent) and be comfortable managing a team of team of 10 and the trials, tribulations and rewards such a challenge brings!
Exposure to bad debt provisioning, pension/payroll accounting, implementing automated expense systems, IFRS, cashfow forecasting will be all highly attractive and candidates with demonstrable exposure should apply.
