Finance Manager

Part of a larger holding company, this Yorkshire gem is becoming one of the true success stories in Yorkshire! Now looking to appoint a deputy role to an experienced Finance Director in a role that is set to significantly grow as the business continues on a path or organic and acquisitive growth. This role will be responsible for:

• Producing the monthly management accounts up to board pack level
• Driving and developing stronger financial control and systems to support the business growth
• Providing financial stewardship to the transactional reporting team
• Supporting commercial decision making and providing logical solutions to the board
• Manage the relationship with external advisors and develop a an understanding of the banks

Supporting various internal stakeholders including 'German' or 'Turkish' partners, a language understanding of one, or both of the above would be a distinct advantage although not a pre requisite. Ultimately this role is seeking to attract a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant who is capable of having a good eye for the detail and who wants to support and grow their commercial understanding of and SME and evolve into a becoming a financial controller.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a relatively newly qualified individual to learn and build the skills in order to push on to become a strong number two. Either a first move out of practice or an industry trained and seeking a role that will give exposure in an evolving business - few opportunities offer this much depth whilst being supported and mentored by an experienced FD in a business that is financially sound and supported by a holding company that is not to shy in providing further financial support for future aquisitions.
