Commercial Finance Manager

ABPM, experts in financial recruitment, are working with a well renowned listed manufacturing company based in Shropshire to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for financial control and cost centers that underpin growth. You will also have a mandate to support process and control improvements throughout the business once you become established.

You will act as the first point of contact for the business, liaising with external auditors. Another important part of your role will be taking the lead in developing a financial team that is motivated and understand the business strategies.

We seek applicants from those that have a positive approach to work, feel comfortable working both individually and part of the wider finance team; have excellent communication skills and attention to detail and a genuine commitment to developing yourself. The company has a pathway outlined to progress to Financial Controller so you must be keen to learn in the role and looking to progress within the business.

Your main responsibilities will include leading the financial reporting process, working alongside the financial management function, and analyzing key monthly variances. As well as this you will own various processes, such as; fixed asset reporting, and group financial control.
