My client are a leading multi-disciplinary powerhouse who have an opening for a Finance Director to join on an initial 6 month contract, with a possibility for this to be extended.
The role of the Finance Director is to have full financial control and offer strategic financial guidance for a business unit that has a UK turnover in excess of £500m.
Reporting directly into the CFO, the position will manage a team and assume full responsibility for both the commercial financial insight into the business and the development and maintenance of timely and accurate financial reporting standards. Being seen as a key business partner to the key budget holders across the business is vital as the need for financial knowledge across the company is more important than ever before given the significant growth seen recently.
The role would suit a candidate that has experience of working in a large, complex organisation who has ideally had a good mix of technical reporting and commercial finance experience. Being able to demonstrate team management and senior stakeholder engagement will be key for the successful applicant.
