Finance Manager

Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with an established SME based in Lichfield who are seeking a Finance Manager to join the team paying between £30,000 - £35,000 plus benefits. Reporting into the Managing Director the purpose of the role would be to assume full responsibility for managing a small team and to take overall control of the company's accounting function.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:
- Leading and managing a small finance team
- Contributing fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business; challenging assumptions and decision-making as appropriate; and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
- Ensuring company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
- Presenting monthly management accounts and preparing annual accounts ready for audit
- Ensuring regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met
- Corporate finance: managing the finances of any corporate activity including acquisitions, disposals, and fund raising activities
- Preparing Company Profit and Loss / Balance sheets; Cash Flow forecasts; Annual Budgets and comparing with actual business performance

The ideal Finance Manager would have the following:
- Previous Finance Manager experience
- ACA,/ACCA/CIMA/MBA qualified or equivalent
- High level of Excel knowledge
