I am delighted to be working on behalf of my Lanarkshire based client, who operate within the distribution sector, in their search for a Financial Controller who will be a key part of the continued growth of their business.

This Financial Controller role is commercially focused and therefore it is key to have previous experience within a role which has required a strategic mindset and you are tasked with offering new ideas or processes. You will also be responsible for analysing and reviewing management accounts and looking closely at margins to ensure continuous improvement within the business.

In order to be successful in your application it is essential to have the following:

• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS)
• Experience in the analysis of financial information
• Ability to be an effective team member and take on additional tasks where required
• Comfortable in a senior role reporting to director level
• Experience with multiple currencies would be desirable.

In return, the successful Financial Controller will receive a basic salary of £40,000-£50,000 along with the opportunity to be a key part of the continued success of a growing organisation with an exciting future.
