Our client, a leading business based on the outskirts of Southampton, is seeking to recruit a Financial Accountant on a 12 month fixed-term contract.
Reporting in to the Financial Controller the role holder will be responsible for preparing and approving journals, quarterly VAT returns, preparing accrual and prepayment schedules and assisting with the year end and interim statutory reporting and auditing process.
The successful applicant will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with excellent Excel skills. You will have previous VAT Accounting and Corporation Tax experience. Team-management exposure is also desirable but not essential.
