The job of Financial Accountant is with a major Insurance business that operates as one of the world largest insurance and reinsurance brokers. With offices all over the world and presents in the majority insurance markets of the world, this company is a major player and has a real impact on insurance globally.

Your new role

As the Financial Accountant you will be responsible for the statutory reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS (FRS 101 / FRS 102) along with FCA reporting. A key part of this role will be the responsibility for the Client Money rules reporting. Working within a small team you will liaising regularly with the team in Mumbai where the majority of the transaction functions are outsourced.

You will also have responsibility for the management accountants functions that are still retained in the UK as and when the Finance Manager requires it.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a practice trained ACA in the first role in industry. Ideally you will have had experience auditing Insurance clients but Financial Service clients are suitable. Key to this role is experience with Client Money rules.

What you'll get in return

Salary £60,000 plus bonus.
