Senior Auditor

My client is a FTSE listed media company. The role will be a Fixed-Term Contract for a year. The current employee will be going on maternity leave in about 6 weeks time, so the successful candidate must be either immediately available or have a 1 month notice period.

They are based in London although there will international travel at a rate of about 50%. The travel will be in the European region.

Key Responsibilities:

• To work with the audit senior managers in assisting ongoing programs of successful internal audits.
• To work with other auditors in the planning and the delivery of internal audit reporting.
• You will be required to perform internal audit field work in London and international offices.
• You will need to be able to commit to 50% European travel.

The successful candidate will have:

• Will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIA qualified.
• A strong background with over 2 years experience in internal audit, and preferably started out in the Big 4.
• The ability to work autonomously and run projects to a high standard.
• Be able to report to higher levels of management as well as your immediate Audit Manager.
• Ability to work well under pressure, whilst producing results.
• Ability to work well in part of a vibrant team and manage own workload.
• European languages are a plus in particular French, Italian, Spanish and German.
• Experience in report writing is essential.
• Strong analytical skills are essential.
