Role

My client, a leader within the leisure and hospitality industry is looking to expand their current London based finance team. They have an opening within the team for an assistant accountant who's looking to take the next step within their accountancy career. Whilst the role itself will entail more than just accountancy, the ideal candidate will have a head for numbers and be looking to progress at a fast pace within their career. The assistant accountant will be asked to everything from bank reconciliations to assisting with management accounts at month end. As the London based team is he largest team there will be plenty of exposure and the opportunity to progress rapidly within your accountancy career will be there for the right person.

Profile

The ideal assistant accountant will come from a transactional background and have some solid experience across accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and at some stages having assisted with month-end procedures and the production of management accounts themselves. This candidate will have a strong work-ethic and be able to liaise with suppliers and potential clients and customers. A good level of spoken and written English is also required as is a desire to study or continue studying an academic qualification.

£32,000 - £36,000 + Study + Benefits
