Our Client, a highly progressive market leader in their chosen field, is looking to source the capabilities of a Group Financial Controller with a proven track record of making a difference, ideally within an expansive multi-site environment.
This role has materialised due to an internal promotion and you will operate an effective Group reporting function thus ensuring compliance under IFRS and UK GAAP and managing the year end audit process.

A key element to this role is to support the Group's finance led projects including acquisitions, disposals and plan for and implement the proposed accounting changes. You will implement changes to the reporting process to facilitate the reporting framework set by the Director of Group FP& A. Alongside the Director of FP&A the successful candidate will own the group reporting timetable and consolidate the period results, forecasts and budgets. You will manage a small team of senior accountants and really push towards challenging the status quo and implement change if necessary.

Aside from being able to draw upon clear examples of exemplary performance in each of the above areas, the successful candidate will have an enviable academic background including a strong degree and professional qualification from a reputable University / top 10 accountancy practice.
