Our Client is a specialist property management company who have certified themselves as one of the most promising UK real estate firms and are currently looking to hire a Credit Controller to join their successful team. Our client is well known for their expertise within the commercial sector, priding themselves on both staff and customer relations. The Role will include but may not be limited to:
- Collecting quarterly rent for all portfolio.
- Making adjustments, handling queries and resolving problems within company guidelines and policy.
- Handling disputed accounts and negotiating to bring payment into line with terms.
- Achieving the KPI for each Client.
- Sending copy invoices and credit notes when needed.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date customer details and account records.
- Maintaining accurate individual measurement and performance statistics.
- Chasing outstanding debts via phone, email and letter.
- Having regular meetings with surveyors and directors.
- Maintaining daily performance spreadsheet for collection reporting and adapt to meet client-specific requirements.
- Liaising with surveyors.
The Person will have 2-3 years' experience of chasing rents/service charges in a commercial environment. Understanding of the English quarter dates is needed to ensure prompt collection of funds. Applicants will have a good working knowledge of related legal processes and will ideally have experience with known property management systems such as TRAMPS, QUBE, YARDI, MRI or similar.
