Financial Controller

A rapidly growing Technology Consultancy is looking to hire a Financial Controller to lead all aspects of Finance. The Financial Controller will be the number one in Finance and be tasked with helping to grow the business through first class Financial support to the Board.

The business specialises in designing cloud based solutions for their clients which span across a range of industries including clients in the Media, Construction, Travel and Financial Services industries. They are also an award winning business and have huge ambition to double the size of the organisation over the next three years.

The Financial Controller will be a high profile position in the business and an extremely key hire if they are to achieve their growth plans. This individual will initially be supported by a Finance Assistant but will have the remit to build a team in line with company growth.

The position is very broad and will involve owning all of the key aspects of 'BAU' Finance but also lead on all aspects of commercial finance such as building the company budget, strategic plan, forecasting, competitor analysis and serving as a business partner to the CEO, MD and Sales Director.

A key facet to the role in the first 6-9 months will be to build scale-able finance processes, metrics and systems. This includes getting under the skin of the sales performance and partnering with the MD and Sales Director in order to truly understand business drivers.

Experience of Xero accounting package would be beneficial. However, if you have not worked with Xero then you will simply need to be able to display a demonstrable track record of improving or implementing finance systems.
