Finance Manager job in Liverpool .SME Engineering Contracts business based in Liverpool. £38000 to £45000

A successful SME business that has grown its operations nationwide. Recently taken over by a large company that will invest money to develop improved IT systems and help the business grow further.

Your new role
You will be a business partner to the non finance operations teams across the Uk. Providing monthly management accounting information , you will help non finance managers to better understand the financial performance of their division.
You'll use your management accounting skills to produce P&L and Balance Sheet, and your Excel skills to provide analysis.
There will be some travel involving overnight stays for around 20% of the time. (2 trips per month).

If you are a management accountant looking to push your career forward and get responsibility for a division with the support of a Financial Controller who can develop you, then this could be your next role.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant with experience of producing monthly management accounts. You'll enjoy working with operational staff to help them make better commercial decisions. The role involves occasional travel so you should be available to travel for 10-20% of your role.
You will be seeking a job that develops your skills further and gives you full control of P&L and Balance Sheet for an autonomous division.
It would be an advantage if you have experience of budget setting and forecasting.
