A global leading insurance business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate to join its financial reporting team.

The individual will be responsible for the management of processes for key reporting cycles, including the preparation and communication of the quarterly, half year and year end integrated Finance instructions, the preparation and monitoring of the timetable, and the design of key deliverables.

Main duties include:

  • Managing the end to end key reporting cycles, ensuring that all key external and internal reporting deliverables are identified and communicated to relevant Centre teams and wider Finance teams as appropriate.
  • Co-ordinating and preparing the quarterly, half year and year end instructions to Market Units.
  • Liaising closely with Market Units and Centre Functions to understand challenges on submissions, as well as improvements leading to time savings
  • Working closely with the various Centre teams to ensure processes and timelines are aligned, and deliverables between Centre teams are communicated and agreed, including preparation/co-ordination of the Centre instructions
  • Tracking of deliverables to the reporting timetable during the reporting cycles, chasing of deliverables and escalation of issues as appropriate.
  • Ensuring the deliverables from the financial change programme are in congruence with the requirements of the appropriate reporting cycles.

You will be ACA/ACCA qualified with a background in financial reporting and some exposure to project management. IFRS and or Solvency II exposure would be desirable. This role will give very good exposure to the most senior people in the business.
