They have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our growing Finance Team during an exciting period of growth. This role will be responsible for the financial management and reporting of our Events & Performance Sports businesses, and will oversee the day-to-day management and long-term development of one direct report.


Core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Analysing, reviewing and challenging financial performance against monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
  • Transforming large volumes of data into insightful Management Information to facilitate appropriate decision making.
  • Presenting financial information to the Head of FP&A as well as members of the senior management team.
  • Assisting in the implementation of 'best practice' processes and developing a culture of robust financial control.
  • Ensuring accurate month end accounts for both the Events & Performance Sports businesses
  • Collaborating with Department Heads to produce Long Range Plans, Annual Budgets and both quarterly and monthly Forecasts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial information for senior management and the board.
  • Driving astute commercial decision making.
  • Assisting in the preparation of weekly Cashflow Forecasts
  • Managing and overseeing the professional development of one direct report (Financial Analyst - Events & Performance Sports).
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • High level of proficiency in modelling Forecasts, Budgets and Cashflows
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF and pivot tables as a minimum)
  • Good management skills
  • Previous experience in the Hospitality, Catering or Restaurant sector preferred
  • Knowledge of Sage X3, SUN Infor and Fourth FnB would be advantageous
