Tax Accountant

We have a new opportunity for a Tax Accountant at a leading organisation based in Ipswich. The role would suit a newly qualified (ACA, ACCA or CTA) tax accountant with experience in compliance and reporting looking to join an in-house tax team providing support mainly around UK corporate tax issues, UK tax compliance and reporting, and US GAAP reporting. As an integral part of the team, you will have responsibility for ensuring UK tax compliance and governance obligations are met, whilst also supporting the wider business on adhoc projects.

Key responsibilities will include:
• Provide support on researching and analysing tax legislation to resolve tax queries
• Assist with tax due diligence reports on corporate transactions
• Preparation of the groups UK Corporation tax returns and computations
• Managing UK tax compliance process within set statutory deadline
• Prepare Return to Provision and provide explanatory notes on material current and deferred tax movements
• Preparation of annual and quarterly tax provisions under UK GAAP/ US GAAP
• Draft statutory tax disclosures for audit review and resolve queries that are raised
• Preparation of group loss relief matrix
