Financial Controls Accounting Lead

Your new role

• Ensuring that the operations comply with group financial controls and processes (eg Sarbanes-Oxley) and UK financial control requirements
• Responsible for monitoring and managing the accounting and purchase invoice processing services which have been outsourced. This includes holding regular service delivery meetings and monitoring KPIs of third party suppliers.
• Implement any new requirements relating to the above responsibilities
• Liaison with internal and external auditors and the group compliance team.
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with finance and non- finance teams

What you'll need to succeed

You should be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a background in a large corporate business working in Audit or Financial Controls/SOX.
You will have knowledge of end-to-end processes, IFRS and UK GAAP
You should have an outgoing personality, energy and enthusiasm, tenacity and be happy challenging information when necessary.
