Interim FP&A

I'm currently supporting a growing startup business in the centre of Leeds who have now have a key requirement to tighten up and develop their decision support function . The role will report through to the FC and will have a dotted line to the newly appointed CEO. It is envisaged that the assignment will last for a minimum of three months and would be to start reasonably quickly although a short wait for the right candidate will be considered.

Your key deliverables will be:

• Implement systems and processes capable of producing segmented P&L's by product and entity
• Develop and automate financial reporting and analysis
• Develop robust, understandable forecasting and scenario models
• Work with SMT to ensure key business drivers are understood, forecasted, reported and performance is tracked and managed

You will be able to demonstrate:

• Previous interim experience in an SME environment
• Qualified Accountant or significant QBE
• An understanding of Sage 50 would be an advantage as well as broader knowledge of other target systems that could be a better fit for the business
• The ability to make an impact in a short period of time and to bring to the role ideas and suggestions
• The brief is set but how you go about delivering will be left to you
