Robert Half is currently recruiting for a large manufacturing business in Birmingham. They are a well-recognised brand name in the local area, and are looking to add a Senior Financial Accountant to their team.

The Role

This role will have total control of the Financial Accounting Team of this large organisation. Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Management of the financial accounting team
  • Monthly reporting, with comparisons against key measures
  • Overhead reporting
  • Generation of the rolling forecast
  • Develop a system of tight financial controls
  • Manage the month-end balance sheet process
  • Review and understand cash flow performance of the business
  • Key liaison for internal and external auditors

The Candidate

The right person for this role will be a Qualified Accountant (Industry or Practice) and be looking for a technical role in a large organisation.

Some of the key things you will bring to the business are:

  • Experience in an accountancy practice (desirable)
  • Up to date knowledge of reporting regulations
  • Good communication skills internally and externally
  • Organised, with the ability to work autonomously
  • Systems savvy, with good excel skills

The Business

The business is a large multi-site manufacturing business, this role will be based in Birmingham.

What's on offer?

A salary of £45,000 - £55,000 is on offer depending on experience.
