Director of People and Resources
With hugely ambitious plans for the future this is an exciting time to join Staffordshire Police. The Director of People and Resources will play a pivotal role in delivering our wide ranging transformational change programme to ensure we can provide a first class service to the communities of Staffordshire.
Reporting directly to the Chief Constable, you will oversee finance, procurement, people services, IT, estates, fleet management, and all other aspects of our support services to ensure we provide the best possible support to our front line staff and the communities they serve. As Director of People and Resources you will lead effective budget management, business planning, and people and performance management. You will build productive relationships with stakeholders and strategic partners, including continuing our strategic IT partnership with Boeing, with the aim of making Staffordshire Police the most technically advanced police force in the country.
The ideal candidate will have a breadth of senior management experience including financial operations, people management and corporate governance in a large complex organisation. You will have strong business acumen, experience managing contracts to ensure best value, and the ability to drive change at pace. You will lead by example, develop staff potential, and cultivate a high performance culture based on trust and accountability.
