Financial Analyst
Leicestershire
£40,000-£45,000 Per annum + benefits
SF Group are currently recruiting for a finalist or newly qualified Financial Analyst for a leading manufacturing company based in Leicester. As the Financial Analyst you will report directly into the Financial Planning and Analyst Manager overseeing all aspects of Finance, Management, Sales and operations teams.
The finance team are a strong and dynamic group and would welcome someone who is enthusiastic and able to quickly deliver, as well as fitting in well to the team.
As the Financial Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the Month end responsibilities over a strict 3 day timetable
- Ensuring the integrity of the period financial reporting
- Preparation of monthly rolling forecasts
- Assistance with preparation of annual budgets and mid-year reviews
- Monitoring actual performance versus budgets/forecasts and reviewing/commenting on variances for the board
- Input of Month end results an forecast to the system
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Provision of management information's into Sales and operations managers
- Occasional weekend/public holiday working is a requirement of the role
The ideal candidate will be/have:
- Finalist or fully qualified in ACCA/ACA/ACMA
- Worked within manufacturing/engineering industry
- Worked with Hyperion, JD Edwards and Oracle
- Strong Excel and Microsoft package knowledge
- Proven experience in a large commercial organisation
- A strong financial Accounts background
- Willingness to Travel (up to 10% of the role, mainly UK locations)
- Have excellent communication skills (telephone, face to face and written)
