Our FTSE 250 FMCG client is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team for 6 months. Based in Central London, this opportunity has the possibility for extension/permanent work as they are anticipating rapid expansion for the next 2 years.
Key Responsibilities;
- Manage the Annual Audit process including scheduling and presentation to auditors
- Ensure group statutory accounts are compiled to accepted standards
- Manage the cash flow process including weekly cash flow forecasting
- Manage the process for compiling monthly expenditure report
- Responsible for the Fixed Assets, posting the depreciation and post disposal of assets
- Act as key point of contact for accounting standards queries
- Ensure VAT submissions are completed in a timely manner
- Work with senior finance managers to assess financial status and identify methods for cost reduction/ improvements on efficiency
- Manage the Annual finance statement process
About the ideal candidate:
- ACA/CA qualified accountant with 1-3 years PQE
- Knowledge of IFRS/GAAP reporting standards
- Analytical and Logical Problem solving
- Good attention to detail
- Good communication and presentation skills
