A market leading US Law firm based in the City is currently looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. The role will work closely with the Finance Director and be responsible for the finance function for the UK entity.
Main duties include;
Management Accounting / FP&A
- Redesign the month board pack for the Partners
- Create flash reports for the EMEA and UK
- Compare business performance vs actuals and challenge the Fee earners
- Report on Client Profitability
- Working with the operations team to manage WIP
- Manage internal stakeholders around their budgets (IT, Marketing etc)
- Drive the annual budget process
- Involved in business cases for new proposals / new investment
Accounting / Tax
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Assist in Partnership Accounting
- Assist with Treasury
The successful candidate will need to be fully qualified and ideally have worked within Professional Services. You will need to be able to interact with finance and non finance stakeholders and deal with the US.
