Accounts Payable Manager

Due to retirement an award winning organisation in Preston are seeking to appoint an experienced and talented Transactional Manager. Based on the Fylde Coast in modern offices with easy access on public transport. This company prides itself on great staff retention and development. Reporting to the Finance Director you will have the opportunity to:

*Assess and improve processes to support growth plans
*Work as a key member of a new system project team
*Develop members of the purchase ledger team, delivering training and ensuring that succession plans are in place
*Control all aspects of the supplier payments systems, making improvements where necessary

Experience of a retail or exposure to stock accounts is advantageous for this role, you should have significant experience in a busy purchase ledger/accounts payable function, with proven staff management skills. You should be a confident communicator, who is proven at influencing at all levels and capable of delivering real positive change. A good level of IT skills is also required given the impending exciting new system implementation.
