Customs & Excise Manager

Your new company
I'm working on behalf of one of the UK's leading catering and retail organisations. Having experienced significant growth in the last two years, they are now looking to appoint a Customs & Excise Manager to commence work asap.

Your new role
You will be responsible for maintaining knowledge of Customs & Excise regulations and how it would impact the business. Submitting the monthly Excise returns, aswell as ensuring compliance with AWRS regulations.
Overall responsibility for monitoring unit's compliance with EMCS movement closure within the limit of 5 days set by HMRC.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need an In-depth knowledge and experience of Customs & Excise. Previous experience and comfortable working with different financial/operational systems.
Experience or exposure of working in the retail industry is ideal but not essential.
