My client, a UK leading Service Provider based in the Swinton area, is looking for a Financial Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be working within a large, dynamic finance team where you will produce full management accounts, prepare year end and also half year group reporting packs to Senior Management.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a newly qualified Accountant to grow within a well established and successful business.
- Production of Monthly Management Accounts. Providing sales and WIP analysis.
- Preparation and posting of accruals, prepayments and monthly journals.
- Prepare and post wages journals. Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Produce cash flow reporting.
- Weekly/monthly rebate calculations.
- Producing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.
- Producing monthly Intrastat/EC Sales information.
- Production of information and analysis to be used in financial reporting.
- Preparation of year end accounts.
- Liaising with the sales team on financial performance.
- Providing cover for Financial Controller
You will ideally be able to work to an Excel Advanced level and be able to handle large amounts of data. You will need great attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast paced and demanding environment.
You will ideally be qualified in ACCA/CIMA with no less than 3 years post qual.
