Frazer John Recruitment Finance practice is supporting a PE backed, manufacturing organisation based in Lancashire in their search for a Financial Controller.
Following a period of strong growth, the business still has a number of challenges ahead and they need an strong professional to come in and help drive the business forward further.
The position doesn’t contain the technical elements you would expect from a typical Finance Controller position; the responsibilities are in fact geared slightly more towards that of a Commercial Business Partner.
Key responsibilities:
To be successful you will be CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified with an excellent academic record. You will also have manufacturing experience and the drive to become a strong and commercially focused accounting professional.

- Challenging senior non-finance stakeholders across multiple sites
- Overseeing month end
- KPI reporting
- Driving the P&L with senior stakeholders
- Leading the cashflow/budgeting and forecasting
- Implementing process improvements across the accounts ranging from assessing systems and driving profits to business partnering
- Driving ad hoc projects throughout
