Our client is technology business which is disrupting the traditional market place it operates in. As part of its exciting growth plans, the business now wishes to appoint a CFO to the Board to work as a business partner alongside the CEO.

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for all financial reporting and control; treasury & taxation; liaison with customers, suppliers and partners as well as investors, bankers and advisors; and the management of the overall finance function. The role will be challenging, requiring a qualified accountant equally at home in the detail as he/she is dealing with raising finance and dealing with investors/advisors. This is a truly commercial role with responsibility across the business at the highest level and the CFO will play a key part in the continued growth of the business.

Ideal candidates will have a background in growth companies in the   technology/software space generally; international experience; M&A; experience of dealing with investors. Previous experience of private equity and/or operating in a leveraged environment will be advantageous. The role will be challenging, requiring a qualified accountant equally at home in the detail as he/she is dealing with raising finance and dealing with investors/advisors. Above all they should be commercially focused individuals, keen to play a part in a driving a business forward to an exit.
