Finance Manager

This is a hands on SME finance manager role based in a Central London office working for a leading IT cyber security technology business with some. The role will be supporting the financial controller with managing the finance function and hep support the business through further growth.

The responsibilities of this finance manager role will include:

• Supporting the monthly close process and month end balances
• Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
• Process improvement
• Reconciliation and review of AP, Inter Company, VAT, Payroll, Accrual & Prepayments
• General accounting - GL maintenance, reconciliations, monthly close process, and support finance analysts with accounting issues, payroll review and compliance.
• Preparing external audit material annual financial audit & Corporate and other local tax - forecasting, Corporate reporting, annual tax return, ad hoc tax issues
• Internal controls including SOX
• Ad hoc tasks as needed

The desired profile for this finance manager role would include:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent experience
• Prior SME tech experience is a benefit
• Hands on accounts prep
• Strong technical financial statements
• Excel
• Ability to work in a changing environment

This role is based in Central London and is looking to start asap. The finance manager will be the go to person for the FC and required to support and be heavily influential in the growth of the finance function across the business.
