Based In Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, our client is an exciting and expanding company looking for a Financial Accountant to join their team.

This job would suit a qualified ACA, ACCA, ACMA accountant with post qualification experience in practice. The job will involve being responsible for statutory compliance activities including year-end Financial Statements, Corporation Tax computations, payments and annual audit.

The successful individual will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with a proven track record in financial reporting role. Strong IT skills and the ability to communicate effectively across the business at all levels are essential coupled with the ability to prioritise your work load and deliver within a fast moving and commercial organisation.

Duties will include:

• Statutory reporting activities including year-end Financial Statements, Corporation Tax computations, payments and annual audit.
• Internal audit of subsidiaries
• Banking compliance, LC's and foreign exchange activities
• Accounting policy updates
• Monitoring postings to the Nominal Ledger
• Working with Management Accounting team during Month-end closing and reporting to Group HQ
• Providing financial support for business activities
• Providing data analysis
• Review quarterly sales commission targets and prepare sales commissions on a quarterly basis
• Review and approve supplier payment runs
• Review company car leasing agreements
• Payroll - Pension, P35, P11D's, PAYE settlement (PSA) and related payments
• Review payroll for overseas subsidiaries
• Review of VAT Returns
