Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant (AAT Qualified) / Manchester Centre / Salary £23,000 - £26,000 / Permanent Role + Excellent Benefits
Assistant Accountant required to work for a Leading service organisation in Manchester Centre. This Global PLC is a market leader within their sector and pride themselves on developing its employees. Due to internal promotion my client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant / Assistant Accountant to assist in the month end accounts. Reporting directly into the Finance Manager you will be tasked with the following duties.
Duties:
- Monthly Bank reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Month end closure on Sales & Purchase Ledger
- Liaising with Treasury Team to make sure payments are made
Essential Experience Required:
- Strong Accounting Experience Ideally AAT Qualified or QBE
- Double Entry Accounting Experience
- Good Knowledge of Accounting systems such as Excel (V Lookups & Pivot Tables)
- Excellent communication and written skills
