Exciting Top 50 Practice Opportunity - Music and Entertainment clients
A Top 50 Accountancy Practice are seeking a part-qualified Semi-Senior to join a dynamic team to undertake day to day bookkeeping and accounting for an exciting portfolio of clients with the music, media and entertainment industry.
The Role
- Undertake day to day bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of clients within the Music, Media and Entertainment industry
- Assist with handling of the portfolio's financial and personal affairs, as per the client's needs
- Assisting with the maintenance and review of accounting records raising issues to relevant Managers
- Assist with raising sales invoices, considering the VAT position on international invoices
- Preparation of VAT returns and EC Sales Lists for manager review and client approval
- Liaising directly with clients and suppliers on basic queries in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with management reporting and annual accounting compliance by preparing accounts and reports such as tour reports comparing actual to budget, wealth statements
- Tour accounting including preparing reports for tour support, 360 commission and other reports in respect of mitigating withholding taxes
Your Experience
- Prior experience within a practice
- Previous experience with software packages including Quickbooks is a bonus
- AAT qualified and/or working towards ACCA/ACA qualification or substantial relevant experience (study support available)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 5.30pm
