FRS are currently in the process of recruiting for a Finance Manager for a 15-month fixed term contract based in Northampton. Reporting to the Senior Management this role will take full responsibility for the companies’ financial activities, providing information and support to the Directors as well as developing financial policies and procedures for the successful management of the Company.

Duties will include:
• Reconciliation and preparation of Monthly Financial Management reports, including; Trial Balance; Turnover and expenditure for the whole Company; Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet for the whole Company; Monitor actual costs against budgets for the whole Company; Cash-flow; Profit & Loss analysis of individual departments; Monitor actual costs against budgets of individual departments; Analysis of the above to provide an overview, advice and recommendations to Directors and Senior Managers.
• Oversee completion and agree payment for quarterly VAT return.
• Preparation and review of Budgets.
• Oversee and review Year End accounts.
• Management and supervision of the General Office (Accounts Department).
• Administer all aspects associated with the Company’s utilities, including gas, water, electricity and landline/mobile phones.
• Complete various forms for information on the Company as requested by the Governments National Statistics Department.
• Prepare for and oversee visits by HMRC in respect of PAYE/NIC and VAT inspections. Resolve any queries that may arise.

The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience and have strong analytical and accountancy skills. Experience of Sage would be advantageous.
