Specialising in ethical sourcing, high quality nutritious foods and long-term partnerships with independent UK suppliers, the organisation has set itself ambitious strategic targets to enhance its market share. As a result, the business is currently recruiting a qualified accountant to undertake a Finance Planning & Analysis Manager role, supporting the Finance Director and Senior Management Team. This broad and varied role includes:

•Deliver Financial leadership & work closely with the FD & SMT to develop best-in-class business practices
•Lead on the review of monthly revenue, P&L & flash reporting across stores
•Drive out financial analysis (FP&A) & commentary on daily, weekly & month-end financials & KPIs
•Provide monthly preparation & presentation of sales & revenue plans & forecasting to Store & Business Unit SMT
•Deliver annual budgets, quarterly forecasts & related financial planning & analysis
•Drive financial projects on new store openings, joint venture (JV) partnerships & product development
•Drive financial presentations for key stakeholders to support business-critical decision making – business case & CAPEX appraisals
•Lead & deliver Financial Systems & BI tools & data analytical projects to support development of a Lean business model

As a recently qualified accountant, currently in a broad commercial financial management accounting or Commercial/FP&A position, you will demonstrate significant added value and achievement and financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting and forecasting skills, gained ideally within a Food Retail, Food FMCG or Hospitality AND multisite business environment. The role demands exceptional commercial acumen, advanced Excel modelling skills and evidence of business partnering with key stakeholders and the non-finance community. The role offers the opportunity to add immediate value and support the organisation during an exciting and dynamic growth phase.
