MiFID II Business Analyst - Canary Wharf - Regulatory Research
Business Analyst required to work on Business Conduct elements of MiFID II. You must have previous experience in assessing regulatory impact on one or more of the following areas:
Conflicts of Interest, Remuneration, Complaints Handling, Compliance Function, Risk Management, Organisational Requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with stakeholders in ensuring the needed level of research and analysis is completed to accurately define the solution benefits and risks
- Employing structured analysis techniques such as Use Cases, UML, decision tables to ensure completeness, clarity and non-ambiguity of requirements
- Proactive identification and resolution of requirements conflicts
Skills/Experience Required:
- Solid knowledge of brokerage and/or investment banking processes - front to back
- Prior experience as a Business Analyst on MiFID II or other regulatory projects would be desirable
- General business analysis and problem solving skills
- Experience of dealing with senior management
- Experience in achieving results in a project context using resources that do not report directly to you (eg from clients, from other departments, external suppliers)
- RUP/UML, ISEB, IIBA or IREB qualifications in Business Analysis eg ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis, CBAP, Six Sigma/Lean/DFSS would be desirable
