A truly exciting opportunity has arisen for a Development Finance Analytics Manager to join a well established US property developer looking to grow their UK operation and invest heavily over the next 10 years.

Responsibilities:

1.         Budgeting and forecasting. Prepare project budgets with Transaction Managers, establish and maintain forecasts and report on same to stakeholders.

2.         Cost control. Maintain tight control over development costs with Development and Construction Teams, reporting on commitments and against budget and forecast.

3.         Investor reporting. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of reporting to investors, providing appropriate and relevant analysis when required.

4.         Management reporting. Deliver timely and accurate reporting to the board and senior management, providing appropriate and relevant analysis when required.

5.         Bank reporting. Ensure compliance will all banking covenants, managing the drawdown process and reporting on all finance matters on projects.

6.         Tax compliance and reporting. Ensure projects comply with tax and VAT matters and that all reporting requirements are met.

7.         Cashflow forecasting and working capital management. Maintain tight control over cash and working capital, delivering meaningful and timely forecasts.

8.         Financial controls. Ensure adequate financial controls are in place and adhered to at all times in relation to development projects.

9.         Supervise the Project Accounting Team.

The Financial, Planning and Analysis Manager will report to the Finance Director and will partner with all the finance team (Transaction Management, Legal & Risk Management, Financial Accounting and Operational Accounting)

Experience/Skills

Degree educated and professional accountancy qualification (ACA or similar).
Experience of construction projects.
Experience of working closely with non-financial personnel.
Experience of managing debt funding.
Experience of operating in the property sector.
Ability to implement and manage reporting processes.
