Finance Manager, Cambridge, Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits package.
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join a large established organisation based on the outskirts of Cambridge. The business has been going through a period of growth and has ambitious plans for the future with the financial backing to achieve this.
The role itself will require someone with a broad level of experience dealing with both management and financial accounting and who is used to working in a diverse environment.
In addition you will be required to focus on the following areas:
• Provide clear financial guidance to business managers and act as the key link between finance and the wider business.
• Undertake projects to improve processes and drive efficiencies across the business units
• Ensure all financial records are maintained in line with group accounting policies and external reporting standards
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure that they are completed in accordance to group policy.
• Travel abroad on a regularly scheduled basis to meet with business managers and ensure strong relationships are established to ensure effective implementation of group policy.
In order to be successful in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:
• CCAB Qualified accountant or possess appropriate demonstrable experience
• Excellent communication skills and able to take into consideration both practical and cultural differences
• Working knowledge of IFRS reporting standards and SOX
• Ability to speak a European language e.g. French, Spanish, Portuguese would be of benefit but not essential.
