Financial Controller

A leading manufacturing company based in Clitheroe are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager/FC on a permanent basis. To be considered for the position you must be (ACCA,ACA,CIMA) Qualified with relevant post qualification experience. You must have strong and confident communication skills, both orally and in writing, with the ability to interact with senior members of the business..
Key Responsibilities of the role are shown below;

Completion of Monthly Management Accounts
General Ledger review / Journals, Accruals/Prepayments, Balance Sheet account reconciliations,
Cash Flow, Fixed Asset / Depreciation Reporting, Production of month end reporting pack for board review, Review and support for budget holders.

Treasury & Cash Management
Banking Relationships
Internal reporting
Ensuring cash and credit facilities are available to manage business transactions

Statutory Responsibilities
Manage year end processes, Inc audit and statutory accounts
Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and highest standards of corporate governance

Other Duties
Overall responsibility for sales, purchase and general ledgers
Responsible for working capital control Inc overall control on customer credit limits and debtor management
Forecasting and Budgeting
Review, improve and manage financial control procedures to protect the business assets

·Budgeted and non budgeted expense sign off
·Authority levels for spend/sign off
