Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant required to work with a medium sized charity in South East London - £45k.

Your new company:
A charity with a turnover of almost £40m that delivers services to people in need of care. The organisation are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their high performing team.

Your new role:
The Financial Accountant will his role will support the Finance department, ensuring:
* Financial controls are robust and complied with
* VAT submissions are timely and accurate
* production and reconciliation of the balance sheet
* analysis and advice to the Finance Department and organisation as a whole of any significant implications arising from changes in accounting
* Lead the production of statutory accounts and the preparation for and execution of the annual audit of the organisation and its subsidiaries
* Conduct the accounting for and review of restricted fund income and expenditure and balances each month

What you'll need to succeed:
The client is open to considering various experience but the ideal candidate will be qualified ACA. Experience of auditing charities would be ideal but candidates with other audit experience will also be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to make their first move from practice.
