A brilliant opportuniyt has arisen for a Management Accountant to work very closely with the Senior Management Team. The role will give the individual great exposure to the wider Capita business plus the chance of excellent career progression
To work as a Management Accountant in a growing and highly profitable business focusing on the production of monthly management accounts and forecast packs - the role will require month end reporting, MOB preparation, detailed forecasting and analysis. Ideally some experience in managing the budgetary and reporting aspects of a Capita IT transformation projects would be beneficial
Responsibilities:
*Monthly entering of journal entries, including accruals and prepayments in preparation for the management accounts
*Producing the monthly management accounts
*Production of monthly MOB reports
*Providing appropriate commentary and analysis to the management accounts in order explain variances to forecast and budget, and significant movements in month
*Production of monthly forecast packs to be modelled in excel and processed through Axiom
*Production of annual budget packs to be modelled in excel and processed through Axiom
*To assist with forecasting working capital for specific cost centre areas
*To assist with tracking capex approvals and purchases for in flight IT transformation project
*To produce any adhoc reports or requests for information as and when they are required
*Proactively liaise internally with the appropriate departments to collate information required to build the monthly forecast packs and budget pack
*Keeping adequate records to substantiate the monthly management accounts, forecast and budget packs
*Additional cost centre ownership and responsibilities as and when required
*Audit preparation
*Ad hoc finance duties as required

Essential Experience/Skills: Required skills/experience:
*Qualified ACCA/CIMA candidate, or in final study stages.

*Specific experience in forecasting and budgeting.
*Interaction with other departments, such as Sales and Operations.
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
*Previous experience in using SAP/Axiom.
