Finance Director

Within the media sector, our client is an established name and key player.  They continue to influence and shape the industry and have ambitious goals for their company future.  At this time, they require a Finance Director with strong leadership skills to guide them on their journey.

This is a full time permanent role based in their Stevenage offices, reporting directly to the company CEO.  It is a fabulous opportunity for a talented FD who is seeking a new and exciting challenge. 

The role:

• Accountable for all company financial tasks, including preparation of accounts, financial reporting, audit and compliance
• Active role on Senior Management team
• Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
• Recruit, manage and develop the accounting team
• Develop and set company finance strategy
• Build exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Accountable for bespoke finance projects
• Provide astute and insightful financial advice to the company and senior team

Our client is looking for a business-minded, professional and experienced Finance Director.  They need an individual who can make an immediate impact upon the business and who is comfortable working on a broad range of financial tasks.

The ability to work with others is vital and our client expects the successful individual to use their influential skills to achieve results.   The successful candidate will be able to retain a cool head under pressure and balance a busy workload comprising both operations and strategy.

Candidates must possess at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role and hold an accountancy qualification.
