Our client, an established medium sized multinational organisation are seeking a Financial Controller to join the team. Based in Birmingham our client are a provider of Mobile Assets and Fleet solutions and are currently going through a period of growth. Reporting into the Finance Director the purpose of the role would be to assume full responsibility for managing a small team and to take overall control of the company's accounting function.
Responsibilities Include:
*Preparing timely and accurate management and statutory accounts and ad hoc reports in line with US and SA reporting deadlines.
*Ensuring balance sheet accounts are fully reconciled on a monthly basis
*Ensuring effective financial controls are in place and full compliance with SOX
*Ensuring accurate and timely billing of annuity revenue and reconciliation of vehicle data across different systems.
*Key player in migration to new ERP system
*Completing tax and statutory returns.
*Leading a finance team of 4
The ideal Candidate would have the following:
*Graduate with ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualification, Or Equivalent
* Preferably trained in a large audit firm with industry experience would be desirable
*Up to date technical knowledge including IFRS
*Strong IT skills, extensive Excel knowledge
*Ability to grasp and analyse complex detail
*Demonstrable team leadership and managerial skills
*French Language skills would be an advantage
