Finance Manager - St Albans
£40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus Benefits

Our client, an impressive household name with an innovative approach to business and fantastic National presence, is looking for a Qualified Finance Manager to join their talented team.

Key duties include
- Preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts
- Responsible for all journals and final General Ledger balances including review of month end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts
- Timely and accurate preparation of monthly overhead reports
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company's accounting records and financial systems
- Preparation of annual statutory financial statements
- Timely preparation of the monthly VAT Return
- Preparation of budgets, forecasts and business plans
- Continued monitoring and review of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances to management
- Participant in the company internal control environment from a finance perspective
- Manage, motivate, supervise and review performance of relevant individuals in the team
- Assist in managing relationships with Auditors, Tax Advisers, bankers and other parties

The successful candidate will be an ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant with previous experience doing a similar role. You will have strong technical and analytical skills and be excellent at problem solving and thinking outside the box. You will be able to prioritise individual workloads according to deadlines. You will be able to work effectively as part of a team as well as individually and have good Excel knowledge.
