Interim Commercial Finance Analyst

Our client, a highly sought after FTSE 100 and employer of choice, is looking to source a confident and self-motivated Commercial Finance Analyst to join the team on an initial temporary basis. The role will be for 3 months, but given the size and nature of the constantly evolving business, there will be every opportunity for longer term employment.
You will partner with the marketing team on financial planning and insight into actual performance, as well as supporting with ad hoc work as required.

Main duties:
* Financial planning support
* Providing insight into underlying drivers of performance, category levels, impact of price, cost inflation, cost savings
* Report on performance of trials to maximise returns
* Undertaking ad hoc project work

Key skills and experience required:
* Strong understanding of operational business drivers and levers affecting sales and margin
* Exposure to business partnering
* Excellent analytical skills, ability to identify issues and provide assessments grounded in logic
* Commercial acumen
* Ability to prioritise workload and organise tasks effectively
* Strong Excel skills
