Our client, a thriving construction company with offices in North West London are looking to source a management accountant for a 6-12 month maternity cover. The role will be responsible for the production and delivery of the monthly management accounts and reports, and audit files for the annual financial statements. Responsibilities:
- Reconcile the nominal ledger accounts on all companies
- Process fixed asset additions and disposals.
- Process monthly journals.
- Prepare the monthly inter-company matrix.
- Refresh monthly management accounts.
- Prepare overhead reports and analysis.
- Prepare the quarterly VAT returns.
- Prepare audit file schedules.
- Backup to the credit controller.
This would suit a qualified or part-qualified accountant with experience in delivering accurate and timely management. Knowledge of Coins computer system would be essential as would experience working within the construction sector.
