Financial Accountant

A NASDAQ listed international Retailer is actively recruiting a Finance Accountant to join a high profile team. This is brand new role that has arisen due to growth within the business.

Reporting directly into the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will include:

• Work together with IT Financial Accountant, IT Assistant Accountant, & Financial Analyst Teams to ensure a timely and accurate financial close
• Supporting the IT Finance team with the budgeting and forecasting process
• Ownership for inter-companies and related tasks
• Prepayments, accruals and other general ledger journal entries
• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Prepare the financial month end accounts
• Preparation of Balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliations
• Reconciliation of revenue using timesheet date to ensure completeness

The ideal profile will be a part qualified/ finalist accountant (ACCA/CIMA). You will be using SAP and Cognos in this role and so any prior experience using these tools is beneficial. An individual with prior experience working in a large/complex organisation is also advantageous.
