French Accountant, Watford, Hertfordshire £40,000- £45,000 Plus Benefits
Our client, a highly acquisitive and growing company, is currently seeking a highly able and motivated Accountant to join their fast paced organisation, on a permanent basis. Reporting to the EMEA Financial Controller, you will undertake a breadth of challenging responsibilities.
Key Duties:-
- Responsible for the integrity of the G/L, balance sheet analysis and cash flow forecasting
- Statutory returns for the French legal entities.
- Periodic VAT/ intrastat reports.
- Provide support to all audit processes (external/ tax/ internal)
- Annual tax return information packs and prepare and approve journals as required.
The successful candidate will be fluent in French. Aside from possessing a meticulous attention to detail, you will have excellent communication skills and be a team player. SAP experience would be an advantage but not a prerequisite. Longer term prospects are available due to the size and future growth plans within the brand.
