Finance Analyst

Broster Buchanan are delighted to be recruiting for a well-established business in Peterborough. This reputable business is searching for a Commercial/Finance Analyst on a permanent basis.

The role is focused on management reporting and analysis with the aim to support and challenge the business through KPI reporting. The job holder will play a pivotal role in the business, producing periodic forecasts and budgets for a key department within the company.

Role / Duties:

• Production of regular management reports, including weekly trading reports and monthly performance review packs, providing insightful commentary about business performance
• Undertake regular performance reviews, analysing business performance, understanding trends and key drivers and developing action plans to address issues
• Develop KPIs and other statistics to provide insight into business performance. Interpret, discuss and present findings to support effective decision making
• Perform 'what if' modelling on various initiatives and prepare business cases for investment opportunities
• Prepare periodic forecasts and budgets including completion of all schedules, commentary and analysis
• Manage projects and ad-hoc analysis

Applicants must be part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and have recent/relevant experience in similar finance role. You must have advanced excel skills and strong analytical and modelling experience.
