The role and requirements - Reporting to the Head of Tax, Caribbean and Central America, the Group Tax manager will be the expert within the Digicel Group regarding all tax matters for the group, with responsibility for reviewing tax legislation in the Group’s markets and liaising with the Group’s tax advisers on managing same, manage tax audits internally and in conjunction with external advisors, increasing tax awareness/ compliance across the business and work on various special projects and presentations, including tax technical research.

Applicants will have a proven track record of 4-5 years PQE working in a corporate tax department in industry and be a qualified ACA/ ACCA accountant from a highly recognized accountancy firm (Big 4 – 10).  A good understanding of VAT is desirable and advanced excel skills is required.

The successful candidate will have prior proven experience of working in large global organizations and international entrepreneurial environments.
